How to Handle a Rough Day

I've been in a mood

I felt like nothing could lift my mood, I try my best to put on a brave face but sometimes it is really hard to be brave and happy all the time. I have Type One Diabetes, Hashimoto's Disease with my Thyroid plus Anxiety and Depression. I deal with quite a lot every single day.

I have bad days where it's all too much and I just don't want to deal with anything but I can't take that attitude. I take a deep breath, put a smile on my face even though I don't feel like smiling and I get on with my day. I make sure I am happy and positive around my clients and try to be in a positive frame of mind through out the day.

We all deal with so much and I wanted to do this post so I can tell you what I am going through and try to offer some tips to help everyone not just me. So saying all of this here are some activities that I like to do when I am having a rough day;
  • Remember to breath, Take a moment and just take a breath it might help when everything is just becoming too much.
  • Exercise, I love to get out and get my walk in. When I'm in a mood I find going for a walk and listening to my favourite songs helps me feel better.
  • Talk, I talk to my Mum all the time, she has the power to lift my mood and help me feel better again. I encourage you to talk to someone whether it be your Parents or your Best Friend just talk to them they're there to help you.
  • Do an activity that you enjoy, you might like to cook, play a game, watch a movie. Whatever you like to do go do it, I'm sure that when you do an activity you enjoy you probably feel better after wards.
We deal with so much every day and sometimes get into a funk, I was certainly in a funk this week but now I do feel better. I do things that make me happy for example yesterday I had my Facial and Eyebrow Wax, done some shopping and I bought myself some great new clothes and a pair of heels. I like having a Facial I find it very relaxing and it's not often I buy myself clothes or a pair of heels so I felt good and I wasn't feeling down or in a bad mood.

If you're having a rough time right now please know that you are not alone and please remember to talk to someone whether it be Family or a Doctor there is always someone willing to help. Don't forget to do an activity that you enjoy, you know you will feel better for it.

I hope everyone has a great week,

Until next time

Jenna
